L2 Communications Manager


Biography:

David is a chartered construction manager with international experience of Building Information Modelling and digital transformation working on national and large scale change programmes.  He has been an integral part of the programme since the very beginning of the BIM Task Group where he started as Head of BIM Implementation.  David helped kick-start the BIM Hubs (now Regions) and the various BIM4 Communities to ensure that there was an effective conduit between the work of Government and industry.  David is working alongside the University of Cambridge communications team to forge an effective interface between the Digital Built Britain programme and the built environment stakeholders.

The Centre for Digital Built Britain is a partnership between the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and the University of Cambridge to understand how the construction and infrastructure sectors could use a digital approach to better design, build, operate, and integrate the built environment.
