Biography:

Ian Blackman is an engineer with more than 20 years’ experience on major projects including rail, port, air, highways, tunnels, nuclear, residential and educational sectors in the UK and international markets. Ian has been supporting clients since 2013 to adopt Level 2 BIM as a key enabler to a transformation to adopting corporate digital information practices. This has included the design of the change programmes to embed the new ways of working in a client’s organisation. Ian is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers

Ian supports the programme management of the Digital Built Britain workstreams along with supporting the activities being delivered by the workstreams using his digital engineering expertise.
