CDBB August 2018 Newsletter

New funding opportunities, the launch of the DFTG and more in CDBB's August newsletter.

Newsletter introduction:

I was delighted to welcome Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury, Robert Jenrick to Cambridge in July for the launch of the Digital Framework Task Group. The announcement is the next step in ensuring the UK is well positioned to capitalise on the use of data for the public good in the UK’s infrastructure and the wider built and natural environments. I look forward to watching the DFTG's progress under Mark Enzer's leadership.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Monday’s Summer Showcase. It was wonderful to meet so many of you, and to share an update on CDBB's growth, research and new opportunities for funding. We hope you enjoy reading through what CDBB has been doing this month and consider applying for our research calls. As always we encourage you to get in touch to see how we can collaborate.
