Vision and mission of the LA Working Group

The LA Group strives to tackle the myths perceived and the obstacles experienced by local authorities in their journey to BIM adoption. Local authorities spend around £25bn on capital projects every year. They engage with many supply chain members and are therefore very influential in supporting the transition of the UK’s built environment to innovative digital ways of working.

The LA Group aims to educate local authorities through engagement media, templates, easy tools and a road map adoption plan to raise awareness of what BIM is, how it can be applied to business functions, how it can be introduced through low-cost proof of concepts (POCs) and what great benefits it can provide.
