How could Blockchain be implemented in construction?
As an emerging technology, Blockchain is being explored for various industries including, but not limited to: health care, manufacturing, insurance, real estate, logistics, finance, banking and education. Recently, discussions for the use of the technology in the construction industry to solve the industry’s problems associated with trust has also gained momentum.
Outcomes
This research project aims at understanding the real potential of Blockchain for construction supply chains and proposing a comprehensive implementation framework. Alongside those main aims, the project will be used as an opportunity to raise awareness of Blockchain in the industry through Blockchain demonstrations and a workshop.

Further work is needed to integrate feedback from the workshop into the framework, implement the framework in real use cases and write up these implementations into useable case studies.
