CDBB, MTC & BRE form the Transforming Construction Alliance

last modified May 04, 2018 05:09 PM
The Centre for Digital Built Britain at the University of Cambridge is working with BRE Ltd and the Manufacturing Technology Centre under the name of ‘Transforming Construction Alliance’ to develop a bid for the recently-announced Core Innovation Hub under the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund for the construction sector.

The Hub will be the core of a national network of digital, manufacturing, testing, demonstration and collaboration facilities. It will provide the capability for radical and disruptive innovation and translation in the design, manufacturing and operation of built assets. It will integrate activities from research to commercialisation, acting as a focal point for collaboration and cross-sector knowledge transfer.

CDBB will be extending our current network-forming activities to make significant investments in a number of research projects, covering a wide variety of academic disciplines from across the UK.

Details of the Alliance are at
