Centre for Digital Built Britain completed its five-year mission and closed its doors at the end of September 2022

This website remains as a legacy of the achievements of our five-year foundational journey towards a digital built Britain

Invitation the Transforming Construction Network Plus, funded by UKRI and part of the ISCF Transforming Construction Challenge.

The ISCF Transforming Construction Challenge aims to bring significant new thinking to the science and practice of how our buildings are design, built, powered and used. As part of this, we have an unprecedented opportunity to provoke, enable and amplify innovation by stimulating participation, facilitating collaboration, and encouraging exploration. We’ll be supporting new research projects, organising ‘discovery days’ and providing exceptional support so that our activities continue into the future – spanning digital, construction, energy, and manufacturing. Importantly, the Network Plus will be supporting £1m of new research projects over the next two years, and your support, participation and interest will be key to its success. We’d like to invite you to our launch, and listen to your ideas for the network. What do you think our research priorities should be? Join us to input your views and find out more.

The launch takes place from 6.30-7.30pm, Tuesday 20 November, at UCL, in the Christopher Ingold Auditorium (access via 22 Gordon Street, WC1H 0QB), followed by a drinks reception. To access further details and book your place, please visit: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/bartlett/construction/events/2018/nov/transforming-construction-integrating-agenda-fragmented-industry

If you can’t make it to UCL on the day, don’t worry – we’ll be livestreaming the event and hosting it for future viewing on the website above.

On behalf of all the N+ team, we look forward to meeting you and any other colleagues who wish to attend, on 20 November.
