Centre for Digital Built Britain completed its five-year mission and closed its doors at the end of September 2022

This website remains as a legacy of the achievements of our five-year foundational journey towards a digital built Britain

As part of CDBB Week this day will showcase the Research work of CDBB.

CDBB Week will consist of digital and in-person events that will bring together various stakeholders in the Centre’s wide-ranging networks in order to showcase work towards a shared vision of digital transformation in the built environment.

Part of CDBB Week, booking has now opened for the CDBB Summer Research Showcase, on 12 September. This booked up quickly last year, so reserve your place soon! The Summer Research Showcase will provide attendees with an opportunity to meet and engage with researchers in CDBB’s national academic network, as well as highlight CDBB’s critical contribution to academia and in providing the evidence base needed for the digital transformation of the built environment. The Summer Research Showcase will consist of:

  • Keynote presentations from CDBB’s academic leadership, including discussions on the next phase of CDBB research as part of the Construction Innovation Hub
  • 'Pecha Kucha’ style presentations from CDBB’s Early Career Researchers, PIs from the General Research Projects and Networks, including key findings from these CDBB-funded projects
  • Networking opportunities with key stakeholders from CDBB’s policy, industry and academic networks
