Digital Construction on a Shoestring - 4 FEBRUARY 2021, 12:00-13:30

Throughout this series of events, the I-Construct team will speak alongside leaders within the field to help you explore areas including accessing new market opportunities, overcoming barriers to innovation, and improving your profitability and sustainability.

On 4th February meet us online as we collaborate with the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) to understand the potential for improving your on-site operations with low cost and off the shelf proven digital technologies such as sensors and cameras.

This session has been developed to help small and medium sized businesses engaged in on-site construction activities explore how they can improve their processes and drive increased productivity and profitability through the adoption of simple and proven digital technologies.

At this interactive workshop, you will learn how simple low-cost technologies can be combined to provide practical digital solutions to specific and real operational and business challenges. You will also see examples of successful pilots and demonstrator solutions in other businesses and identify potential pilot solutions for your company.

Derek Godfrey, an I-Construct industry expert, will chair the session and use his on-site experience as an owner/managing director of an SME contractor to discuss common on-site issues that would benefit from digital solutions, as well as discuss how I-Construct can help companies going forward.

Those taking part in this workshop may choose to engage further with IfM and I-Construct to support the development of their pilot solutions.
