One Day Conference - Wednesday 16 October 2019

This one day conference will provide unique insights from leading service providers and offers a valuable opportunity to hear and discuss the latest developments in service thinking.

How can companies develop business strategies that successfully capture value from digital technologies? In the not too distant future, developments such as artificial intelligence (AI), robots and virtual reality will be commonplace within businesses. Yet only a minority of companies are fully embracing digital today, and many well-established firms are still struggling to generate revenue streams through digital.

Meanwhile, customer expectations in both the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) worlds are being ramped up as market entrants endlessly innovate to enhance their services. Companies can see the opportunities that are being created in this new experience and platform-led economy, and at the same time they can see the threat of new competition emerging from unexpected quarters. Ultimately, firms are afraid of being left behind: their eyes fixed on a game-changing technology like AI as it comes over the horizon but unable to make the organisational changes that would allow them to embrace it.How can companies develop business strategies that successfully capture value from digital technologies?
