We are looking for 2 Senior Information Management (BIM) specialists and 2 Information Management (BIM) Specialists. If you are interested in Information Management (BIM) Specialist role, please see the AK23395 role.

The Senior Information Management Specialist supports the Centre for Digital Built Britain's (CDBB)'s objective of ensuring that Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes become business as usual, thus increasing commercial competitiveness and productivity, as well as citizen quality of life and well-being.

They will apply their technical expertise and experience in support of the UK BIM Programme and the implementation of the UK BIM Framework. The role holder will support technical aspects of the joint projects of the Hub. Working independently and with external collaborators, the Senior Information Manager will exert influence to ensure successful delivery and alignment with the Centre's objectives and the UK BIM Framework. S/he will consult with stakeholders from across the client and construction sectors to influence opinion, through face-to-face events and written reports.

The role holder will sit within the Centre for Digital Built Britain, working across its programmes. They will be required to work on complex technical programmes with specialists within the University and also with colleagues from the Manufacturing Technology Centre and BRE, CDBB's partners in the Construction Innovation Hub.

The Centre for Digital Built Britain is a unique Centre positioned in the University of Cambridge's Academic Division. Founded in 2017, we form a multi-disciplinary team made up of specialist individuals all working towards the same goal - using digital techniques to support the modern digital transformation of the built environment sector.

To perform this role effectively you will have extensive experience at a senior level as an information specialist working in construction sector or asset management business. You will have experience of defining and documenting project information strategies to ISO19650 / PAS1192, including information requirements and BIM execution plans and will have knowledge of data schema and COBie outputs. We are looking for a skilled and persuasive communicator to join our team.
