Centre for Digital Built Britain completed its five-year mission and closed its doors at the end of September 2022

This website remains as a legacy of the achievements of our five-year foundational journey towards a digital built Britain

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Welcome to our winter news update.

It has been a busy year for CDBB and for this end of year update we focus on two recent high-profile events where we showcased much of our recent work, Digital Construction Week and the first Global BIM Network General Assembly.

We would also like to congratulate Mark Enzer, Director of the Centre for Digital Built Britain and Head of the National Digital Twin Programme who was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

The first General Assembly of the Global BIM Network took place in December, bringing together 300 attendees from 70 countries from global construction and infrastructure leadership from the public sector, industry and multi-lateral institutions. You can also read more about the presentations about a range of CDBB projects at Digital Construction Week.

If you have some reading time over the festive period why not explore the CDBB Knowledge Base Navigator Tool!
