In November 2018 Government announcement a £72m award from UKRI to the Construction Innovation Hub (CIH), a four-year programme of work to transform the construction sector as part of the Industrial Strategy. The Construction Innovation Hub brings together world-class expertise from the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), BRE (Building Research Establishment) and the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) to transform the UK construction industry. Working around the four core themes of Value, Manufacturing, Assurance and Digital, we will change the way buildings and infrastructure are designed, manufactured, integrated and connected within our built environment.
