This website remains as a legacy of the achievements of our five-year foundational journey towards a digital built Britain

To understand and articulate the procurement and contractual issues arising from the need for interoperability in Government-led projects and to consider what solutions may be possible.

Simon Lewis , technical lead

Simon believes that Interoperability is central to the development of BIM and the digital built environment.  Addressing the issues raised by Interoperability will help the construction sector make real, meaningful progress in driving forward the BIM mandate and the digital built environment.

Simon has worked in the legal side of the construction sector for 30 years and have been involved with the development of BIM since 2011 both in advising clients and working on the development of standards and legal protocols relating to BIM and information management.  I am currently also the Vice Chair of BIM4Legal, which provides a hub for learning and development in relation to legal aspects of BIM.
