Centre for Digital Built Britain completed its five-year mission and closed its doors at the end of September 2022

This website remains as a legacy of the achievements of our five-year foundational journey towards a digital built Britain

Neil has nearly 20 years of experience in implementing new technology and processes in the construction industry. He has worked for most types of firm in the sector, from founding his own business and social enterprises to leading roles in large contractor and consultancies. Neil has dedicated his career to transforming the industry from two points of view, first as an engineer and a technologist and the other as an economist. He believe the digital transformation of our sector will have a profound impact on business models and the fabric of the built environment supply chain.

Alongside Neil’s role as Construction Innovation Hub Programme Lead for the Centre for Digital Built Britain he is Director of Digital at Atkins and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London’s Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management. He is also co-host of the Digital Twin Fan Club Podcast where he explores the possibilities of connecting our social and economic infrastructure to the internet.
